Package Overview

📅 Day 1: Arrival and Sightseeing

 

On the first day, our driver will pick you up from Calicut or Wayanad and take you to your hotel or resort for check-in. After some rest, you will visit Pookode Lake, where you can enjoy boating and a peaceful walk through the natural surroundings. Next, you will be taken to Lakkidi View Point, which offers breathtaking views of valleys and hills. On the way, you will also stop at the famous Chain Tree, which has an interesting local legend. In the evening, you can spend some free time shopping at the Wayanad local market before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

📅 Day 2: Wayanad Exploration

 

After breakfast at the hotel, your day will start with a visit to the historic Edakkal Caves, where you can see ancient carvings after a short trek. Then you will continue to the beautiful Soochipara Waterfalls, an excellent spot for adventure and photography. Later, you will visit the scenic Banasura Sagar Dam, where you can enjoy boating and admire the natural beauty of the surroundings. If time permits, you can also explore the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to elephants and other wild animals. Finally, you will be dropped back at Calicut or Wayanad, marking the end of your 2-day tour.

Day 1: Arrival and Sightseeing

 

On arrival at Calicut or Wayanad, our driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or resort. After check-in and a short refresh, your sightseeing begins with a visit to Pookode Lake, where you can enjoy boating and relax in the calm natural surroundings. Next, you will proceed to Lakkidi View Point, known as the "Gateway of Wayanad," which offers panoramic views of the valleys and misty hills. On the way, you will also see the famous Chain Tree, which is connected to a local legend. In the evening, you can take a stroll through the local market for shopping and return to the hotel for your overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, your day starts with an adventurous visit to the Edakkal Caves, where you will see fascinating prehistoric carvings after a short trek. From there, you will continue to the stunning Soochipara Waterfalls, a popular spot for adventure, nature, and photography. Later, you will be taken to the scenic Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earth dam in India, where you can enjoy boating and admire the beautiful surroundings. If time allows, you may also visit the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary to experience Wayanad’s rich wildlife.
